Another Course to College High School’s team traveled to New Orleans in January to work with the organization,YRNO (Youth Rebuilding New Orleans ). This group worked in the community, building affordable housing to attract public school teachers to New Orleans, cleaning up blighted properties , and assisting those still in need of renovating their houses and businesses, 13 years after Hurricane Katrina. During their week the team particularly enjoyed working with a family-owned contracting business and helping to demolish damaged storage areas
